Urban music & lifestyle festival postponed until Juli 2021
Now Wireless Germany has also been forced to move to summer 2021. Due to the ban on large-scale events that is in force until at least the end of August, the urban music & lifestyle festival in Frankfurt’s Rebstockpark, for which more than 25,000 tickets had already been sold, cannot take place this year on 11 and 12 July as planned. The festival will now be rescheduled for July 2021, with the exact dates to be announced shortly.
The organisers naturally understand this decision, taken by the authorities in light of the ongoing risk of infection. “The health and safety of all those involved is always the absolute top priority”, explained Live Nation managing director Andre Lieberberg. “It’s really a great shame, as the second edition of Wireless Germany had been very well received. But it’s a postponement, not a cancellation, and it’s better to party free of worries next year. At the same time, we also want to expressly thank the fans for their ongoing support.”
Festival tickets already purchased in the presale remain valid for 2021. All ticket buyers are asked to remain patient regarding further details. The organiser and their teams are working on specific information concerning the exact course of action, and this will be announced next. Until then, the understanding of fans is requested.
